The Viticulture and Enology Technician Apprenticeship Program (VETAP) is for motivated, energetic, committed individuals who know they want a career in viticulture and enology. Our graduates to fill critical positions on vineyards and wineries across San Diego and Riverside County, ease the burden on small vineyard owners, or launch their own viticulture operations. The program lasts approximately two years, and is a formal, registered apprenticeship with both paid on-the-job training and supplemental coursework. We have recognition from the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards as a professional training program, making us the first registered apprenticeship program for Viticulture in California.
